A Syrian woman in Jordan suffers from a chronic illness and needs medications worth JD 70 a month. She was able to get support from UNHCR where the costs for her medications are covered, and whenever she goes to the pharmacy all she has to do is show her proof. But unfortunately this approval has an expiry date, and when the woman went to renew it, the earliest appointment available was a year away.
During this time, she has to buy her own medications; so what is the solution for this?
